The cap markers for plastic bottles were created
with the idea that "these might be useful."
After making them,
I continued to use them myself
during periods of frequent outings and travel.
What I first noticed after starting to use them was that
they were less obtrusive than I had expected.
Since they attach to the top of the cap,
they don't significantly change the appearance.
Nevertheless,
you can tell at a glance
whose bottle is whose.
What I found easier after using them for a while was
that I had fewer moments of hesitation.
Before asking "Whose is this?",
my eyes already tell me.
When you're out and about,
this difference can be surprisingly effective.
On the other hand,
they're not a perfect tool.
Sometimes I take them off,
and sometimes I forget to put them on.
Even so,
there are now slightly
more situations where I don't have to
worry as much as before.
The way I initially imagined them being used,
and how they were actually used,
differed slightly in the details.

I've settled on this current form.
