Who is and isn't suited to the towel rack smartphone stand

This is precisely what inspired the creation of this stand.

When your hands are occupied for a few minutes, it's inconvenient to hold your smartphone, and you worry about it getting wet if you place it on the edge of the sink.

I believe it's a suitable tool for use as a "temporary place to set it down."

For those who have a towel bar in their bathroom

This stand is designed to hang on a towel bar. It relies on support from both the wall and the bar, so a towel bar is a prerequisite.

If the bar is too far from the wall, it may not be adequately supported.

Most common household towel bars are compatible if the distance from the wall to the inner edge of the bar is within 55mm (5.5cm).

We checked it in 5 locations (our home, parents' home, and friends' homes), and it was installed without any problems in all of them.

For those who use a case on their smartphone

The product image uses an iPhone 16 Plus. The width of the stand has been designed with ample space to accommodate phones with cases.

However, stability may vary with extremely thick cases or cases with special shapes.

For those who want to use it outside the bathroom

If there is a towel bar, it can be used outside the bathroom.

It can be used in the same way wherever there's a towel bar, such as in the changing room, near the bathroom entrance, or in the kitchen.

While it wasn't made exclusively for bathrooms, it depends on the shape of the towel bar, so it's a good idea to check your installation environment beforehand.

Unsuitable Uses / Cases Requiring Confirmation

If your towel bar is a "ring type" or "non-bar type" shape

This stand is designed to hang on a round pole (bar).

If the cross-section of the pole is not round, such as square or oval, the way it hangs will differ.

While it is designed for "general towel bars," we haven't confirmed it for all shapes. If you use a towel bar with a slightly unusual shape, please check beforehand.

If you want to leave your smartphone on it for a long time

This stand is designed for temporary placement.

It is intended for use for a few minutes, such as while brushing teeth, washing face, or preparing to use a hairdryer.

For situations requiring a secure hold for your smartphone, such as watching videos for extended periods, a dedicated stand is more suitable.

If your smartphone is particularly large (guideline: over 80mm wide)

It can accommodate standard-sized smartphones, but it is not intended for tablets or larger devices.

Please use the size of a typical smartphone (up to around 80mm wide including the case) as a rough guide.

Things to Check Before Purchase

Whether the distance from the wall to the inner edge of the bar is within 55mm

If you check this, you can largely determine whether it can be installed.

The measurement is the distance from the wall surface to the inner edge of the bar (the side closer to the wall). You can easily check it with a ruler or measuring tape.

This stand is suitable if:

・You have a common bar-type towel rack in your bathroom.

・You need a temporary place to set your phone while brushing your teeth or washing your face.

・The distance from the wall to the inner edge of the bar is within 55mm.

This stand is not suitable if:

・There is no towel rack, or it has an unusual shape.

・You need to leave your phone for a long time or require a secure hold.

・You want to place a large device such as a tablet.
