"Looks difficult to install."
Some people might feel that way when looking at the product page.
The structure, which attaches to the headrest,
can easily appear "a bit complex" at first glance.
However, in reality,
no tools are used.
No modifications to the car are required.
The procedure itself is simple.
Installation Flow
In broad terms, it's like this:
- Remove the headrest.
- Pass the base plate through the metal shafts.
- Reattach the headrest.
- Attach the holder part to the base.
That's all there is to it.
No screwdrivers, no hex wrenches, nothing is used.
Not "difficult" but "requires confirmation"
However, it cannot be simply called easy.
It's not that the installation procedure is difficult,
but rather that "confirmation of compatibility with your car" is required.
The shape of the headrest, the spacing of the shafts, and the structure around the seat
vary depending on the car model.
Even if the procedure itself is simple,
you need to proceed while checking "if this position is good" and "if it interferes."
Take your time and check by temporarily fitting it once.
That's the correct way to use it.
The holder is an open/close type.
When taking stocks in and out, open the holder.
When stored, it remains closed.
Stoppers are provided on both sides to prevent it from opening on its own.
For driving, we recommend securing the stock with a string or belt as a precaution.
Will it slide off?
The base part has a stopper structure to prevent it from sliding downwards.
Since it's a structure that clamps between the headrest and the seat,
it's not simply just hooked on.
However, the stability will vary depending on the material and shape of the seat.
We recommend pulling it lightly to check after installation and before putting in the stock.
No special skills are required for installation.
It's just a matter of proceeding while checking "if it's compatible with your car."
